Play Merge 2048About these games
All six are original games written for this site. They are deliberately small: no download, no account, no tutorial to sit through. Each one starts in under a second and saves your best score in your own browser rather than on a server.
They are built for a portrait screen, so they work the same way on a phone as on a desktop — with one exception, noted below.
If you are looking for a guide to a game somebody else made, head to the guides index instead. Those pages explain other developers' games and link out to them; we do not reupload work we did not write.
Frequently asked questions
- Do these games need a download or an account?
- No. All six games run inside the browser page in HTML5 and JavaScript. There is nothing to install and no sign-up form.
- Do they work on a phone?
- Yes. Each game is built for a portrait screen first and scales up to desktop. Tap controls replace keyboard controls on touch screens.
- Is my progress saved?
- Each game stores your best score in your own browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data, or opening the site in a different browser, starts you from zero.
